In preparazione dell'uscita del Rapporto Giorgio Rota su Torino 2024, è stata aggiornata la Banca dati con l'implementazione di nuove sezioni.
Investigating domestic work today means bringing to the attention of public decision makers – and all of us – two central pillars of our democracy: the family and the revenue authorities. Family policies, in Italy, have often been left behind, lacking a broad vision, being limited to anti-poverty measures and without structural interventions: the debate on the family has always turned out to be highly ideological and polarized. This is why we believe it is necessary to contribute research that will help – through data, evidence, and proposals – to identify new pathways. All the more so now, with the inverted demographic pyramid, the aging population, and the increasing numbers of elderly people who we need to take care of.

Il 4 aprile si è tenuto al Centro Einaudi l'incontro nell'ambito degli eventi dedicati a Luigi Einaudi e coordinati dal Comitato 150. Introduzione di Giuseppe Vegas, Presidente del Comitato. Interventi di Beppe Facchetti, Presidente Centro Einaudi e Mario Deaglio, Professore Emerito di Economia Internazionale, Università di Torino.
Lunedì 25 Marzo 2024, presso la Sala della Protomoteca del Campidoglio in Roma, alla presenza del Presidente della Repubblica, si è tenuto il convegno scientifico inaugurale dal titolo “L’insegnamento di Luigi Einaudi a 150 anni dalla nascita”. Al messaggio di saluto del Presidente del Comitato e del Governatore della Banca d’Italia, sono seguite tre relazioni scientifiche di Giovanni Farese, Roberto Pertici, Angelo Maria Petroni.
Programma dell'evento
In occasione dei 150 anni dalla nascita di Luigi Einaudi, sotto l’Alto Patronato del Presidente della Repubblica, istituzioni pubbliche e private - tra cui il Centro Einaudi - hanno costituito un Comitato Promotore per coordinare gli oltre 100 eventi che si svolgeranno in tutto il Paese.

The Centro Einaudi with the support of Fondazione CRT launches the XII Giorgio Rota Best Paper Award. Young researchers are invited to submit papers on the subject: Climate Economics and (its) Knowledge. In collaboration with Department of Economics and Statistics 'Cognetti De Martiis' (ESt, University of Turin) and Department of Economics, Social Studies, Applied Mathematics and Statistics (ESOMAS, University of Turin).
Deadline: March 25th, 2024. The selected papers will be announced by May 6th, 2024.
The Rota Conference for the presentation of the winning papers will be held in Turin between 14 and 24 May, as one of the events leading up to the International Festival of Economics.
