This article aims to analyse validity of criticism of the Italian institutional structure as it stands at the moment. It also analyses the proposal for a review of the effective advantages and disadvantages of the system (especially of the proportional representation system) fron the point of view of the development of political consciousness, of the solution of social conflict and of economic growth.
